Koichi Kuriyama (born 18 April 1999) is a recording artist and composer based in Japan.

He taught himself music as soon as he entered college.  After graduating from the university, he began his career.

In 2023, he started releasing piano works on the Finnish modern classical label. 

He is also active in the field of music for film and TV. His music includes the Japanese anime series "Blue Orchestra" on NHK Educational TV, the ending theme for the film "Suton" (Osaka Asian Film Festival 2024), the short animation film "See You Tomorrow", and the feature film "Schrödinger’s Lover".

Through his independent label "Arke", Kuriyama continues to explore subtle emotions and immersive atmospheres, crafting sound that resonates beyond the screen.

1999年4月18日生まれ。大阪府出身。

明治大学文学部入学と同時に独学で作曲を学び始める。

2023年に北欧モダンクラシカルレーベルよりピアノを中心とした作品をリリースし始める。

また劇伴音楽家としてNHK Eテレで放送のアニメ『青のオーケストラ』への参加や映画『すとん』（大阪アジアン映画祭2024インディ・フォーラム部門上映作品）のエンディングテーマ、短編アニメーション映画『また明日ね。』や長編映画『シュレーディンガーの恋人』のスコアを手掛けるなど、映像作品の分野で活動を行っている。

柔らかい響きと打鍵音が特徴的なフェルトピアノを用いた作品に見られるように音の響きにフォーカスした作品を制作する。
